Asia Pacific survey finds CNN most watched channel by top management

CNN is the most watched international news channel amongst most senior business executives throughout the Asia Pacific region, the latest pan Asia cross media survey (PAX) has revealed.
CNN said that the survey found that CNN is the preferred channel for high income earners, whose personal monthly income reaches more than $10,000. Also, its websites, CNN.com and CNNMoney.com, draw 2.5 times more top management visitors as compared to the next-placed regional media websites.
''These results again vindicate the network's ongoing investment in news gathering and programming content.
There is no better indication than the fact that in a single week, our top management audience is the equivalent of what it takes the next placed channel a whole month to acquire," said William Hsu, vice president, news advertising sales, CNN Asia Pacific.
PAX is a syndicated, cross-media survey conducted by Synovate, which measures TV viewing, print readership and website audience across 11 major markets in Asia Pacific, covering Australia (Sydney and Melbourne), Bangkok, Hong Kong, India (Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore), Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Seoul, Singapore, Taipei and Tokyo.
