Fujifilm launches JV series cameras for avid photographers

Fujifilm India has launched two JV series cameras, JV100 and JV150, in the Indian market, with an aim to target avid photographers.

Kenichi Tanaka, managing director, Fujifilm India, said, ''High-definition JV series cameras are dedicated to photography enthusiasts. HD feature is our domain and with JV series we have tried to provide the top quality to our customers.''

The JV100 (12 mega-pixel) and JV 150 (14 mega-pixel) are equipped with the Fujinon 3x optical zoom lenses, the high precision optic lens from Fujifilm, used in satellites in outer space, TV / film, security and compact cameras.

The models come with sensitivity of ISO3200, and digital image stabilizer for crisp, natural and clear photos. The JV series are also quipped with the six scene SR AUTO (Scene Recognition Auto) and face detection functions.

A Rajkumar, country general manager (DSC), Fujifilm India, said, ''The JV series will create a great fan following due to its amazing features and fine picture quality. These cameras are equipped with the most advanced HD features and its range starts from Rs7,799.'' 

Fujifilm India is the wholly owned subsidiary of Fujifilm Corporation, Japan.

Fujifilm Corporation deals in electronic imaging, photofinishing equipment, medical systems, life sciences, graphic arts, flat panel display materials, and office products, based on a vast portfolio of digital, optical, fine chemical and thin film coating technologies.
