Maxx Mobiles ropes in Ignitee Sports for IPL 4

Ignitee Sports, the sports marketing division of Ignitee Digital Solutions, and Maxx Mobiles have entered an annual contract wherein Ignitee will handle the sports management duties for the mobile brand in the upcoming season of Indian Premier League (IPL).
As per the deal, the agency will handle the on-ground implementation and execution of the ''Maxx Mobile Strategic Time-Out'' and ''Play Off sponsorship'' for the fourth edition of IPL.
Sajal Roy, business head, Maxx Mobile, said, ''We were looking for an agency that has the required expertise to handle a large-scale sports event like the IPL and Ignitee Sports was found to do full justice to the event.''
Havas Sports India handled the mandate for Maxx mobiles last year. Maxx Mobile had then successfully leveraged the IPL platform with its brand ambassador Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
On the association, Anand Yalvigi, president, Ignitee Sports, says, ''The idea was to promote the business of sports management with innovative ideas.''
