25 Jun 2010
SinglePoint, the mobile messaging advertising network, today announced additions to its growing roster of customers with Netcore, SMScountry, Ohana Media and Integrid Media opting for its services.
The Hyderabad-based company adds advertisements into SMS messages generated by leading mobile operators, mobile media portals, bulk SMS providers and advertising technology companies.
"SMS is a critical channel for advertisers to expand their reach and for bulk SMS providers and other publishers to generate revenues from the growing streams of SMS messages broadcast to their audiences," Gowri Shankar, CEO of SinglePoint, said.
SinglePoint's marketplace Ad-Junction allows publishers and advertisers to co-ordinate and match advertisements with inventory, based on demographics and other targeting factors.
"SMS has proven to be a highly effective medium, prompting response rates and engagement beyond what we typically see in digital advertising," said, Shameek Chakravarty, co-Founder and COO, Ohana Media.
SinglePoint currently sends 20 million ad-eligible messages per month and expects to expand its messaging inventory by 50 million through the new clients.
