Publicis Healthcare Communications Group (PHCG) has announced its entry in India with the launch of Saatchi & Saatchi Health.

PHCG, which has 14 brands under its arm including Saatchi & Saatchi Health, has been present in the country for almost 12 years under Saatchi & Saatchi Focus though it was not launched as a separate brand until recently.

It has been handling the accounts of Mead Johnson, an infant nutrition client in India, APAC and West Asia, for the past one year; GE Medical Systems, Transitions Lenses and Medybiz.com.

The agency is looking towards clients from the Publicis roster besides other Indian and multinational pharmaceutical companies from Asia and other clients in the health and wellness segment, said Malavika Harita, chief executive officer, Saatchi & Saatchi Health and Saatchi & Saatchi Focus in an official communiqué.

PHCG has been expanding its presence in Asia-Pacific. Earlier this year, PHCG had launched Beacon Healthcare in Japan and last year, it opened a Publicis Life Brands office in Shanghai.
