Mills & Boon calls out to women readers

Harlequin Mills & Boon India, the publisher of Mills & Boon novels, last week launched a nationwide intiative ''Friends for Life'' with Bollywood actor John Abraham.
''Friends for Life'' invites readers to share their experiences and thoughts on how or why Mills & Boon has been their friend through the journey of life. Fans can post thier stories on the website millsandboonindia.com till 25 October.
Through the intiative, Harlequin Mills & Boon India is looking to enagage its target audience, the Indian women, after beginning its India operations in February 2008.
A special panel will choose the 10 best ''Friends for Life'' and invite them for a discussion to select a ''Ms Mills & Boon India - Friend for Life 2011.'' The title will be handed over by Abraham and the winning lady will get an hour to interact with the actor.
Abraham also launched the "Friends for Life - Jootha Hi Sahi collectors pack", which consists of four books in two volumes consisting of classic stories from the past four decades by top authors. Jhoota Hi Sahi is a upcoming movie featuring Abraham, which celebrates the spirit of friendship and companionship.
The pack comes with autographed merchandise by Abraham and a cheat code for the Ms. Mills & Boon India - Friend for Life 2011 title.
Commenting on the launch of ''Friends for Life'' and the ''Friends for Life – Jootha Hi Sahi Collectors Pack'', Manish Singh, country manger, Harlequin Mills & Boon India said, ''People want to have friends and be friends so this is a way for readers to express their friendship connection with Mills & Boon.''
