Blast in Peshawar government bus kills 15

At least 15 people were killed and 25 others suffered injuries as a powerful time bomb ripped through a bus carrying government employees in Peshawar today.
Cantonment Superintendent of Police Muhammad Kashif said that the bomb was planted in the rear of the bus. "Fifteen people were killed and 25 others were severely injured," The Dawn quoted Kashif as saying.
The blast took place near Peshawar's Sunehri Masjid. While the injured have been rushed to a local hospital, the area has been cordoned off.
Bomb Disposal Unit personnel claimed that high grade explosives weighing eight kilograms was used in the attack.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Information Adviser Mushtaq Ghani said Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak has condemned the blast and issued directives to provide proper medical assistance.
This is not the first attack that the residents have witnessed in Peshawar. There have been similar attacks in 2012 and 2013 which killed at least 38 people.
