The investigators probing the Hyderabad blasts on Thursday that left 16 people dead and some 117 injured have recovered "useful CCTV footage" from the blast site in a shopping area.

The closed circuit television footage reportedly shows five men on bicycles near the area. The investigators, led by the National Investigation Agency (NIA), are trying to find out who they were.

Meanwhile, several teams of investigators are likely to visit Bihar, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh in search of the three suspects that the investigators have identified so far.

The three are believed to be Tahsin Akhtar alias Monu, alias Hasan, and his associates Asadullah Akhtar alias Tabrez and Wakas alias Ahmed, who, according to the NIA, are the key to finding the perpetrators.

The investigators are now almost certain that the blasts were the handiwork of the Indian Mujahideen (IM). The NIA has Indian Mujahideen leader Yaseen Bhatkal on its radar as the Dilsukh Nagar blasts carry the IM fingerprint - the usage of cycles, the use of ammonium nitrate, and timing of the blasts to inflict maximum casualties.

Remnants of the bicycles have been sent for forensic examination, while a hunt is on for identifying their buyers and sellers. The IM had used bicycles to execute the May 2008 and August 2012 Pune blasts as well.
