‘eTaal’ dashboard to link all government e-services

The Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY) today launched 'eTaal', a dashboard for providing real-time aggregated view of e-services being delivered across different states and levels of government.
eTaal' provides an aggregated view of e-transactions performed through e-governance, including projects of national importance like 31 Mission Mode Projects (MMPs) defined under National e-governance Plan (NeGP).
'eTaal' automatically pulls all e-transaction count from applications integrated with it using web services technology.
The dashboard also facilitates quick analysis of transaction data of various applications in tabular as well as graphical form, enabling the user to drill down to the lowest level of detail without compromising on the privacy of the service-seeker or the security and integrity of the application software, an official release said.
While 'eTaal' has been in operation since January 2013 and over 2860 million e-transactions have been recorded till 28 February 2014, the dashboard now provided a common platform for the 2,267 e-services from 21 central ministries and all 35 states and UTs.
The top 5 states integrating their transactions on 'eTaal' are Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Haryana.
Nineteen MMPs, namely, income tax (I-T), MCA 21, passport, immigration , visa and foreigners registration and tracking (IVFRT), pension, agriculture , commercial taxes, e-district, employment exchange, land records, municipalities, gram panchayats, road transport, treasuries, CSC, DGFT, e-courts, e-procurement, public distribution system (PDS) have been integrated with 'e-Taal'.
