Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that those indulging in molestation and sexual harassment would be denied driving licence, passport and other government facilities.

The step is being taken in a bid to control the menace in the state, Chouhan said at a function at the Gwalior trade fair in Gwalior yesterday.

He said those involved in molestation would not get driving licence, passport and character certificate. He added, a database of molesters, including those indulging in similar offences would be prepared and appropriate action would be taken against them.

He added a toll free telephone number for registration of complaints regarding molestation and misconduct would also soon be operationalised.
