PM holds round-table meetings with CEOs of French companies in Paris

During his three-nation tour of France, Germany and Canada, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed French CEOs focusing on the economy, infrastructure and energy.
He met CEOs of 15 French infrastructure companies, during which French foreign minister Laurent Fabius said that India had been identified as a bright spot in the global economy.
Modi also met CEOs of defence companies, on pushing the 'make in India' initiative in the defence and infrastructure sectors.
France has emerged as a major source of FDI for India with over 700 French companies already present in the country and French investments having already exceeded around $10 billion.
The prime minister was hosted by he 750,000-member Mouvement des Entreprises de France (MEDEF).
MEDEF is a network of businesses in France, which represents French private companies of all sizes and industries.
