China''s trade surplus tops $185 billion in 9 months

Mumbai: China''s trade surplus hit $185.65 billion in the first nine months of the year, surpassing $177.47 billion, the full-year figure in 2006, the General Administration of Customs said.

China''s trade surplus soared 74.2 per cent to a record $177.47 billion, last year.

This year''s trade volume is likely to reach a record $2 trillion, compared with $1.76 trillion in 2006, said analysts.
