Edelweiss Insurance mandated sole insurance broker for BSE ''brokers indemnity policy''

Mumbai: Edelweiss Insurance Brokers Limited, has won the mandate as the sole insurance broker to service the stock brokers indemnity policy to nearly 550 member brokers of The Stock Exchange, Mumbai.

New India Assurance Company Limited has underwritten this risk.
The policies include comprehensive crime and professional indemnity for The Stock Exchange, Mumbai (including the directors' and dfficers' liability), the trading members of The Stock Exchange and the Clearing House.

The company has long-term plans for insurance requirements of brokers with respect to accident covers, mediclaim, householders' policies including jewellery, etc. at competitive rates.

Edelweiss Insurance received the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA) certificate of Registration on 24th March, 2005 to conduct both life and general insurance business in India.

The company provides tailor made solutions to Corporates, HNIs and SME's taking into account clients' risk profile, nature of assets held and overall financial goals.
