Russia expects new contracts for nuclear power stations in India: Sergei Ivanov

St. Petersburg, Russia: Russia is hoping to sign new contracts with India on the construction of several nuclear power units, first vice-premier Sergei Ivanov has said during his visit to Izhorsky plants on Monday.

Russia is a traditional supplier of nuclear equipment for India, Tass has quoted the first vice-premier as saying. Currently, Russia is engaged in building a nuclear power station in Kudankulam. I

Ivanov also said that India regards Russia as a reliable partner.
