2G: No bail yet for Kanimozhi, others

Six of the accused in the 2G spectrum scam who hoped to obtain bail from the Delhi High Court today will have to wait at least till Monday, as the court adjourned further hearing till then.
Apart from DMK MP Kanimozhi, party chief M Karunanidhi's daughter, the other applicants were former telecom secretary Siddharth Behura, movie producer Karim Morani, DMK-run Kaliagnar TV managing director Sharad Kumar, and Asif Balwa and Rajeev Agarwal, directors of Kusegaon Fruits and Vegetables.
Former telecom minister A Raja, who was among the first to be arrested along with his private secretary R K Chandolia and Behura on 2 February, is yet to move court for bail.
He told reporters earlier today that he would await the outcome of the others' bail pleas before applying for it himself.
After a long hearing, Justice V K Shali said briefly, "We will hear the arguments on Monday."
