The Riviera Hotel will now be christened as Keys Hotel Nestor. Located in the vicinity of international and domestic airports, the hotel establishes the presence of Keys Hotels in Mumbai.
The hotel will include all the facilities of Keys Brand including the Keys café, the Unlock restobar, swimming pool, banquets, conferencing facilities, gym and a business center.
Sanjay Sethi, managing director and CEO, Berggruen Hotels, said, ''We are delighted in having signed this management contract with Nestor Hotels and look forward to partnering them through this venture. Over the next six months the owners will extensively upgrade the hotel. This move will give us a great opportunity to establish the ''KEYS'' brand in Mumbai.''
Nestor Hotels directors, Harish Amin and Vishal Agarwal, added, ''We have entrusted ''Keys Hotel'' management, a national chain with hotels operational across the country to take Nestor Hotel to the next level of hospitality.''
Berggruen Hotels, a venture backed by Berggruen Holdings Inc, New York, had launched a new brand of hotels, resorts and apartments under the ''Keys'' brand in India in January 2007. The company was formed with the intent of focusing on mid-market hotels, resorts and service apartments across India.
