Dharm media launches religious channel 'Dharm'

Dharm media today announced the launch of its new religion-based channel Dharm.
The channel will focus on the ancient sat sanatan dharma, Vedic period and gurus and god men of modern India along with coverage of sacred temples and festivals throughout the country.
The shows to be featured include classic serials like Ramakrishna Paramhan's documentary programmes like 'Bharat ke Mandir', `Shaktipeeth', `Teerthsthal', `Mera Dharm Mera Karam' and weekend specials like `Dharmyatra', `Reeti Rivaj' and `Vidhi Vidhan.'
It will also host religious movies and programmes based on pravachan, panchang, yoga and astrology.
Dharm will also host bhajan sangram, a talent show based on religious music in India.
The channel is already available in Delhi NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Uttranchal, Gujarat and parts of Mumbai, Madhya Pradesh and Bihar through local networks and aims to reach a base of 50 million people within six months of the launch.
