Movada appoints Harbhajan Singh ambassador

Movado has announced cricketer Harbhajan Singh as the newest Movado brand ambassador.
The contract is annual, and will be renewed every year. It's joining its elite league of ambassadors - world-renowned artists and athletes like tennis player Pete Sampras, jazz master Wynton Marsalis, actors Amanda Seyfried and Kerry Washington and dancer Mikhail Baryshnikov. In India, Twinkle Khanna has been brand ambassador for eight years.
Movado India is spending around Rs 1.8 crore on advertising this year and this includes print ads in newspapers, magazines and OOH campaigns. Besides this, Movado is also getting into partnerships with retailers in radio.
The promotional activities include three events in Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bangalor, which will involve taking brand ambassador to dealers/outlets and inviting customers, retailers and dealers for a party with Harbhajan Singh.
