Raymond Weil earmarks quarter of revenues from new range for cancer support

Swiss watchmaker Raymond Weil in association with Union for International cancer control (UICC) has launched a new limited edition range to support the fight against cancer.

The aim of this corporate sponsorship is to use Raymond Weil's international brand recognition to help raise awareness, promote education, set up a global network of influence and to facilitate rapid distribution of resources to combat cancer.

The watchmaker will offer clients a RW club limited edition for online purchase through its website throughout September.

25 per cent of these sale proceeds will be given to UICC to research a cure for cancer.

The product christened freelancer, features a mechanical movement with automatic winding, a stainless steel case, with a white dial and 2 sub-dials, one at 12 o'clock and one at 6 o'clock.

34 pieces of this elegant timepiece will be produced to celebrate 34th anniversary of the brand.

The offer is reserved for RW club members for the first week before being available in the market.
