Raymond Weil launches Nabucco Inverso
27 May 2011
Geneva-based luxury watchmaker, Raymond Weil has added to its Nabucco collection with the launch of Nabucco Inverso.
Nabucco Inverso is named after Giuseppe Verdi's famous opera, the Nabucco, Inverso, which embodies the power and nobility of spirit displayed by the King of Babylon in the opera's final act, the company said.
Besides a sleek, powerful and elegant design, the Inverso embodies a classic feel owing to the use of the Roman numeral twelve.
Inverso features an array of subtle shades, from the black of its bracelet and dial, to the grey of the case and its three small counters; from the yellow of its hands adorning the small counters and from the chronograph hand to the white of its indexes and the luminescent hour and minute hands.
The watch comes with an imposing 46mm case and a tachometric bezel sculpted in titanium, and is available for Rs2,24,020.
The Swiss watchmaker was founded in 1976, and is one of the last independent brands in the Swiss luxury watch industry.
