Areva T&D India signs 9000 MINR alliance agreement for 36

Areva T&D India today entered into its first engineering, procurement and construction contract with Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Co. Ltd, for building 36 sub statuions across Maharashtra, over the next three years.
The contract for setting up these 220 kV and 132 kV sub stations is valued at approximately Rs900 crore.
Areva said hat orders for the first 18 sub stations, worth Rs360 crore have already been booked by Areva T&D.
Over the three-year period of the agreement, Areva T&D will upgrade and expand the MSETCL's transmission and distribution network.
Areva T&D will deliver this project in a consortium with Jyoti Structures Ltd., which will lay transmission lines worth approximately Rs833 crore.
