Beetel Launches slimmest cordless phone in India

Mumbai: Beetel, India's leading telephone brand, has launched the CB 67000 Lazer, the slimmest cordless phone in the country. Beetel is the flagship brand of Bharti Teletech, one of India's leading telecom & allied products company and is one of the largest manufacturers of landline telephones in the globe.
Established in 1985, Bharti Teletech is a subsidiary of India's leading integrated telecommunications group, Bharti Enterprises. The company's manufacturing operations are spread across two ISO-9000 certified plants in Goa and Ludhiana, with an installed capacity of 6 million telephone units annually upgradeable to 10 million units.
Bharti Teletech markets a comprehensive basket of customer premise equipments, comprising of over 45 models spanning basic, feature-rich and cordless segments under the Beetel brand. Bharti Teletech claims to command a market share of 40 per cent in the retail market, 33 per cent in the tender market (BSNL/MTNL), and 83 per cent in the private service provider segments.
Bharti Teletech currently exports to 30 countries across five continents.
The slimness of the Beetel CB 67000 Lazer can be adjudged from the fact that the handset is only 17mm thick, compared to the traditional bulky cordless phones.
The slimness of the model is further accentuated by the sleek futuristic looks and stylish design of the cordless phone, which also has an element of steel incorporated in both the handset and the base model to give it the refreshing futuristic look.
Priced at Rs2,695, the Beetel CB 67000 Lazer caters to customers who aspire for the best. The Beetel CB 67000 Lazer is equipped with a power backup feature that enables continuing conversations even in case of a power failure. The 2.4 GHz digital technology cordless phone is also equipped with an easy 'Touch N Dial' illuminated keypad and a two-way speaker with adjustable volume.
The phone also has an out of range and a low battery warning tone, and a battery charging level indicator on the handset. The 'in-use' and 'charging' LED indicators on the base-set to display the status of the phone. The phone also features a blue backlit display with date and time settings.
For effective sound, the phone features a 5-step handset receive volume control and 10 selectable ringer melodies at handset with adjustable volume. For ease of dialing, the CB 67000 Lazer has the facility of local area code setting up to 6 digits and auto add '0' facility during a call back, in addition to 50 incoming call memory and a phone book with a memory of 50 numbers with names. The phone is also backed by Beetel's one-year replacement warranty against any manufacturing defects.
Beetel telephones come with a zero moisture access, ensuring that all instruments work well under any climatic conditions including moist and humid climate experienced in the coastal areas. The company has recently launched the country's first phone to be equipped with an FM phone with in-built speakers and the first SIM Card Reader phone.
Beetel markets its range of phones at over 15000 dealers across the country.
Bharti Teletech has tied up with Thomson for marketing of GE phones, and has also entered into an alliance with Motorola for the nationwide distribution of their complete range of mobile phones and accessories.
The company has recently entered into a strategic partnership with Polycom, the world's leading provider of unified collaborative communications solutions, for distribution of Polycom's voice and video conferencing solutions.
Besides fixed line and mobile phones, the company also markets Set Top Boxes, Modems, Fixed Cellular Phones and Fixed Cellular and Wireless Terminals.
