Panacea Biotec inaugurates vaccine formulation plant at Baddi

Panacea Biotec Ltd has commissioned a greenfield vaccine formulation plant (VFP) in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh, with several filling lines for bacterial and viral vaccines.
The new facility has been approved for the production of filling lines of bacterial and vital combination vaccines with a total production capacity of one billion doses per annum.
The company makes liquid vaccines in pre-filled syringes, liquid and lyophilised vaccines in vials.
"The unit will increase our production capacity of vaccines substantially in scale and size. It would significantly improve our market presence globally and augment our plans to become a global leader in this field," disclosed Soshil Kumar Jain.
Panacea Biotec also has also unveiled a new corporate identity, which displays a pole star and tag-line: "Innovation In Support Of Life".
