Blackberry Pearl by year-end

Blackberry Pearl is expected to be launched in India by Research In Motion, RIM towards year-end. This latest phone weighs about 88 gram and has a camera as well.

The Blackberry 7130G was launched in India two years ago in an exclusive partnership with Bharti Airtel. It has all call management features like call forwarding, smart dialling, conference dialling and costs about Rs 24,000.

Market studies indicate that close to 75% of the over 5.5 million Blackberry phone users are in North America. India is emerging as the top notch market in the Asia Pacific region.
