Delhi pips Mumbai as cell capital

Delhi: With Hutch having emerged the second cellco
to cross the one million subscriber mark after Bharti's
1.3 million in Delhi, the capital has well and truly pipped
Mumbai (2.37 million subscribers to Delhi's 2.81 million)
as the most cell savvy metro. No other circle boasts of
any single operator breaching the one million
subscriber figure.With these subscriber figures, Delhi
has also become the first state where cell phones outnumbe
land lines
