Ex 99acres.com's business head invests in rival Housing.com

Online real estate portal Housing.com has received an undisclosed investment from Vineet Singh, former business head of 99Acres.com, who will also join the Mumbai-based firm in a senior advisory role.
Singh, who was part of Info Edge's executive leadership team for a decade, built 99Acres.com and Naukri.com from start-ups to scaled companies. He is currently a senior advisor at Housing.com
A veteran in the real estate industry, Singh who has spent a decade in the online space, he is a specialist in B2B and B2C marketplaces.
Prior to joining Info Edge, Singh worked with Xerox and Thomas Cook and is a specialist in the areas of strategic planning, large scale execution, and sales and operations management.
He is also co-founder, CEO & MD of Buildczar.com, a marketplace for building materials and finishing products.
