Mozilla Firefox browser users will soon get a warning when they are visiting a website that has been compromised in the past, according to a report.

The feature appears to be similar to the warning  ''this site may be hacked'' that Google search shows for a website that appears to be hacked.

The Register reported that Mozilla has teamed up with ''Have I Been Pwned (HIBP),'' a website where users can check whether their email ID or passwords have been leaked by hackers.

The data would be sourced by Mozilla from the HIPB, which tracks data dumps by hackers.
