Float glass firm Sezal to invest Rs750-crore in second plant in Gujarat

Gujarat-based float glass maker Sezal Glass Ltd, a major architectural glass processor, today said it is investing Rs750 crore for a second float glass facility at Bharuch, in Gujarat.
It has a current capacity of 550 mt / day
Sezal Glass, formerly Sejal Architectural Glass, is a first generation entrepreneur-led company making float glass at Bharuch 25 years ago and makes mid and high end decorative glass, art and artifacts, lights and luminaries, sanitary ware, tiles, furniture, wallpapers and started its float glass manufacturing operations in the last quarter of the last financial year.
"Looking into the overall recovery in the residential and automotive markets the trend for float glass products seems to be positive for the next few years," says Amrrut Gada, chairman and managing director.
