New Delhi-based: 14-year-old IT hardware, mobile and electronics manufacturer, Intex has introduced two new mobile handst models with distinctive features - one with a triple SIM and a dual SIM phone with a currency checker.

Intex IN 5030, marks the debut of the brand in the triple SIM (Dual GSM + CDMA) mobile segment. To manage three SIMs in one handset may sound complicated but it's not. The Java-enabled handset comes with two batteries, each providing a talk time and stand-by time of up to four and 120 hours respectively.

Intex IN 5030 is priced at Rs4,700.

Intex  IN 4420 is the company's addition in to its feature-rich, dual SIM (GSM + GSM) portfolio, with a built in currency checker that lets users differentiate between a fake and real Indian currency note.

The handset identifies and displays the name of the circle or area while making and receiving a call (the facility is network-specific). The phone also has a dual LED torch light, wireless FM radio and an Indian calendar with all the details of festivals. The handset provides a 3.5-hour talk time and 270 hours of stand-by time.

The Intex  IN 4420 is priced at Rs3,300.

The handsets offer FM radio, audio and video player, pre-set audio equalizers, Bluetooth, PC synchronisation / modem / wWebcam / PC Suite, GPRS & WAP, mobile tracker, auto call recorder, currency converter and expandable memory up to 4GB.
