New Delhi: Intex has put its Dual SIM mobile phones rollout in high gear by rapidly expanding its range of models to meet consumer expectations. The company has put together a package of attractive features, looks and price for users aspiring to have two cell phone connections in one handset, with the launch of another dual SIM IN 4477 and IN 2020 Elegant.
Though both the handsets are dual GSM SIM phones, in the past the Delhi-based computer hardware and mobile handsets maker has launched a GSM +CDMA handset (the Intex 5050) and models of GSM + GSM handsets.
The Intex IN 4477 is a voguish dual SIM (GSM+GSM) phone with a befitting video and audio compatibilty. It plays all video formats including MP4 and 3 GP and has a great sounding audio output. A big 2.4" QVGA screen should immediately catch the eye of the discerning consumer. Owing to the screen, the phone gets a full-score on the visual clarity.
The phone also rides on other utility-centric functions like expandable memory up to 8 GB, tri-band operations (900/1800/1900) and USB-PC connectivity for easy data, music and video transfer. Array of regular, 'must-have' features include Bluetooth, VGA camera, FM radio, audio player and a generous phonebook memory of 1000 contacts.
A long battery providing talk-time of four hours and stand-by time of up to 8 days are other interesting features. Available at Rs3,800, it is worth a try for users who have two GSM connections and who would not like to compromise on looks and entertainment features for a Dual SIM phone.
Intex IN 2020 Elegant is also a GSM + GSM, dual SIM phone. It comes as good news for all FM users. The phone doubles up as a radio on stretching out a small antenna at the top. It also has an audio player, expandable memory and torch light.
