Karbonn mobiles launches Agnee 3G tablet

After launching three smartphones last weekend, Karbonn Mobiles today launched Agnee, a 3G tablet, completely made in India.
The tablet, powered by Qualcomm Technologies Inc's SnapDragon processor, has been designed and developed by Karbonn in collaboration with Innominds Technologies.
The uniqueness of the tablet is its iCare content platform, which would provide education solutions and a collaborative platform collaborative platform for students and faculty.
''Karbonn Mobiles is envisioned to introduce innovative technology across the globe. We are pleased to announce Karbonn AGNEE, the first made in India 3G tablet which will surely take a step forward in making engaged mobility solutions a reality for the Indian consumers,'' Pradeep Jain, managing director, Karbonn Mobiles said at the release of the Agnee.
The first variation of the tablet to be launched, which is the most basic, is the Agnee L, with a 7-inch display and a 4.0 Android OS, which can be updated as and when Android is updated. The tablet would feature two cameras, one each at the front and rear. The front facing camera has a 1.3 MP resolution.
The tablet would carry a price tag of less than Rs10,000.
