Leisure World Pvt Ltd merges with multiplex chain operator PVR Ltd

Multiplex chain operator PVR Ltd today said it was merging Leisure World Pvt Ltd with itself with retrospective effect from 1 April.
It said in a filing to the National Stock Exchange that the board of PVR had unanimously approved the merger of Leisure World.
The board has also approved issue of 152 equity shares of PVR Ltd for every 100 equity shares held by Leisure World Private Ltd members.
Shares of PVR Ltd touched Rs178.05 on NSE, down 1.90 per cent from previous close.
