Lemon Tree Hotels launches its fifth hotel in India

Mumbai: Mid segment luxury hotel group Lemon Tree Hotels has launched a new hotel and convention centre. Located in Kaushambi on the top floors of the East Delhi Mall (EDM), the Lemon Tree Hotel is in the heart of East Delhi's commercial and residential area, making it its third hotel in the NCR region..

The company now has five operating hotels; two in Gurgaon, a beach resort in Goa, one hotel in Pune and the latest addition in Kaushambi, East Delhi. This is the first Lemon Tree Hotel to be built on top of a mall.
 
The new Lemon Tree Hotel, which is a moderately priced, full service  hotel is targeted towards the corporate and leisure traveller and offers great access to key destinations including Noida, Pragati Maidan, ITO and the famous Akshardham Temple . Hotel guests also have the convenience of shopping or watching a movie in the multiplex in the mall below the hotel. Like the fruit they are named after, Lemon Tree Hotels are fresh, cool and sparkling with zest.

Lemon Tree Hotel, East Delhi Mall, Kaushambi has a business center, a multi-cuisine coffee shop - Citrus Café, a fitness centre and a rooftop swimming pool that keep you feeling fresh-as-a-lemon. The centrally air conditioned hotel offers 55 smartly furnished rooms and suites.  The hotel has unique open spaces, with attached gardens for some guest rooms and an outdoor swimming pool. All rooms offer essential business services including WiFi net access, a full sized working desk with an ergonomic executive chair, complimentary daily newspaper and mineral water, tea/coffee maker and mini bar, safe deposit locker, telephones with global direct dialing and voice mail, cable television, a well appointed bathroom and an orthopedic mattress.
 
This hotel also showcases East Delhi's largest banquet and meeting facility of over 25,000 sq feet. of space, including a large pillar-less hall of 10,000 sq. ft. and an outdoor rooftop venue for a reception of over 600 people. It is a 'one stop shop' for conference and banquet organizers.   

Located on the 4th floor with an independent entrance, these halls are the ideal location for weddings, banquets, parties and corporate functions. They offer a refreshingly different setting with stylish interiors and upbeat service.
 
Lemon Tree Hotels was promoted in 2002 and is rapidly creating a strong position within the hospitality sector in the moderately priced segment. The New Delhi based company which designs, develops, owns and manages all its properties, has five operating hotels in Gurgaon, Goa, Pune and Kaushambi (East Delhi). Eighteen more hotels, aggregating over 2500 rooms, are currently under development across India. On completion of all these ongoing projects by 2010/2011, the company will have a strong presence across 17 major Indian cities, including Gurgaon, Kaushambi (East Delhi), Pune, Goa, Indore, Aurangabad, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Shimla, Bhubaneshwar and Ranchi.
