Delhi: Luxor, India's well-known writing instruments brand has entered into a strategic partnership with Reliance Retail.

Bringing the best of Luxor's large format 'Signature' stores, the ''World of Luxor'' will bring the lifestyle experience in writing instruments, stationary and innovative gifting accessories to Reliance's upcoming Time Out store at Bangalore.

The Reliance Time Out stores aim to offer an integrated casual lifestyle shopping experience, which according to a press release by the company, is a great fit with Luxor's fine writing instruments as the essential lifestyle accessory, in a retail format that is elegant yet chic and contemporary.

Luxor will market its writing instruments marketed under the Pilot and Louis Charron brands under the agreement, along with its iconic global brands Parker and Waterman, alongside an exquisite collection of fine leather accessories including pen pouches, desktop office accessories, cardholders, wallets and the complete range of stationary innovations from the recently launched Planet Happy collection.

On the partnership with Reliance Retail, Pooja Jain, Executive Director, Luxor Writing Instruments said, ''The compelling lifestyle appeal of our portfolio with the clearly targeted consumer of lifestyle products that Reliance's Time Out store will attract makes a case for tremendous synergy between the two category leading brands. We are convinced that the World of Luxor will be able to engage with precisely the audience it aims to at the Reliance Time Out store. We are convinced of its success.''

''The opportunity of scale that a partnership with the country's largest retailer offers is yet another significant advantage. A large footfall engaging with our brand in an environment tailored to suit our category will create a lasting impact on the customers' experience with the brand Luxor'', she added.

The 'World of Luxor' retail space will span an area of 300 square feet, prominently in the midst of an innovatively designed Reliance Time Out store. The store itself is a unique format that incorporates lounge settings, paintings, caricatures, special sections for kids and an overarching ambience.

Bijou Kurien, Reliance Retail (Lifestyle) President and CEO said, ''The  World of Luxor will be an important part of the seamless lifestyle shopping experience we aim to offer customers at our Time Out stores. The objective really is to partner with the undisputed leaders in all select product verticals and bring them together under one roof.  Luxor will occupy a place of pride in our next generation shopping format that debuts at Bangalore.''

The World of Luxor has been created virtually as a subset of the already successful, independent retail format ''Signature'' that the group launched  earlier this year. Signature has a wide footprint across Ghaziabad, Noida, Jaipur, Agra and Lucknow, and has a planned rollout of over 100 stores by 2009.
