Premium smartphone Vertu lauches Signature Touch smartphone

Vertu, a premium smartphone brand, has launched its Signature Touch smartphone priced starting £6,500 up to £13,700 (approximately from Rs6.5 lakhs to Rs13.8 lakhs), depending on the choice of leather body cover.
The handset comes as an upgrade over the existing Signature model and would be up for pre-orders at the company's select outlets between 28 September and 8 October.
Among the highlights of the Vertu Signature Touch is the metal Gull-Wing flaps placed on each side of the rear camera. While one side featured a microSD card slot, the other side included a SIM card slot. Further, sporting a premium look and build, the device also packed high-end specifications on the inside.
Vertu Signature Touch runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box and features a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) resolution display covered with phosphor LED powered LCD and protected by 5th-Gen Sapphire Crystal screen.
The display has a pixel density of 428 ppi and the premium smartphone is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, clubbed with 4GB of RAM and Adreno 430 GPU.
The designer phone comes in a titanium body with leather enhancements and packs a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor with 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, as also another 64GB in the included memory card.
The microSD slot can also be expanded to 2TB. The Signature Touch which is also slightly larger than its predecessor. It also packs a 3160mAh battery with Quick Charge.
The new Signature Touch smartphone comes in eight leather body variants - Jet Calf, Garnet Calf, Grape Lizard, Pure Jet Lizard, Jet Alligator, Pure Navy Alligator, Clous de Paris Alligator, and Pure Jet Red Gold, each of which with a personalised engraving.
