Simoco Telecom launches GSM phones

Kolkata: Simoco Telecommunications (South Asia) Ltd has launched eight different models of GSM mobile phones in the Indian market. Simoco has developed the GSM technology at its development centre in China. With components outsourced from China and Taiwan , the phones are assembled at the company's factory located at the Salt Lake Electronics Complex.
Simoco's phones would compete with global majors such as Nokia, LG and Samsung, among others, in West Bengal. The models incorporate entry-level monochrome handsets with FM radio to camera phone models with high picture resolution and high-quality video recording facilities.
