Tilaknagar Industries Ltd, one of the leading players in the Indian alcoholic beverage industry, has launched its new super-premium Seven Islands Vintage Single Malt Scotch Whisky in London.
Tilaknagar Industries, which manufactures and markets over 40 brands of India-made foreign liquor (IMFL) across a diverse range of price and product segments, said the Seven Islands vintage single malt Scotch whisky is ''mystical in origin and eclectic in spirit.''
''It has been passionately created and carefully crafted for the connoisseur in each individual. This super premium whisky has a rich golden colour with notes of butterscotch, honey and vanilla, mingled with a delicate hint of spices and a faint trace of apples and pears. It is a unique spirit that brings together Indian values and culture and the Scottish art of making whisky, as is evident from its taste and beautiful packaging,'' the company said in a release.
Amit Dahanukar, chairman and managing director of Tilaknagar Industries Ltd, said, ''Seven Islands Vintage Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a unique choice for the whisky aficionados. We've worked hard and paid tremendous attention to detail, to create a whisky that's exceptional – from its taste, to its presentation. TI has always strived to accentuate its brand portfolio, and takes this opportunity to enhance its range, with this unique work of art, sure to be a favourite in any whisky connoisseur's collection. Overall, the brand brings together a taste that reflects both the quality and heritage and we are truly pleased to add this exciting brand to our portfolio.''
''Premiumisation has been central to our company's growth strategy and this recent addition further endorses our focus. We believe the super-premium scotch market offers very promising growth prospects both in the domestic and international markets and hence we see this as an opportunity to leverage our expertise and introduce this brand to the discerning consumers and look forward to capitalise on the opportunities,'' he added.
The brand was unveiled in London, at Mint Leaf - a destination restaurant and bar - to be followed by its launch in Mumbai and subsequently at Milan and Paris, the company said.
