U Hotels & Resorts to set up resort in Thailand

Absolute Hotel Services today announced the management contract between its hotel brand U Hotels & Resorts and Sudjid Surijamorn-owned At Nai Harn Resort Co Ltd to develop the first U Resort on the tropical island of Thailand.
The hotel, to be located in a secluded area of Nai Harn beach will offer spacious and luxurious accommodation designed in a contemporary modern Thai style and is scheduled to open in late 2011.
"We have chosen U Hotels & Resorts brand for our first hotel development because of its brand essence as well as its unique concept of service and most importantly their sales and marketing network covering Asia, Europe and Australia," said Sudjid Surijamorn, owner and director of At Nai Harn Resort Co Ltd.
U Hotels & Resorts are already under various stages of construction in India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and the Middle East.
The group also has international sales and marketing network covering Europe, Australia, Asia (Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea) and regional sales and marketing centers in Bangkok, India and Vietnam.
