Vishal Retail opens showrooms in UP and Shimla

Mumbai: Vishal Retail has informed BSE that the company has opened two new showrooms at NH-2, Bye Pass Road in Agra, in the north Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The showroom spans an area of more than 36,000 sq feet.
Uttar Pradesh was in the news recently, for its opposition to organised retail player Reliance Retail, which has shut shop in the state, and has shelved business plans indefinitely.
Vishal Retails' second showroom is located at the Moon Shopping Mall, in Shimla and is spread over an area of 11,000 sq ft. Both showrooms were launched on 22 December.
The company now has 80 stores across the country.
