IBF media to host cloud computing conference

IBF media is hosting an evening conference on cloud computing at the Ista Hotel, Bangalore today.
The event will focus on the evolution and new opportunities of and in the sector by an array of panelists and showcase the latest trends and business models in the cloud computing spectrum.
The panel encompasses a mix of successful venture investors and technology executives including Suresh Sambandam, founder and CEO, OrangeScape, Alok Mittal, general partner at Canaan Partners India, Dr P Gopalakrishnan, vice president, IBM India Software Lab, Sharad Sharma, former CEO and SVP of R&D at Yahoo India now an entrepreneur in residence, Canaan Partners, and Dr Ashish Gupta, managing director at Helion Venture Partners and one of founders of Junglee.
The panelists will address opportunities in the software and applications layer and how successful delivery models are being built using the cloud and also discuss how leading edge companies are building security solutions for the cloud, the latest fad in this space.
