South Korea added nearly 0.4 per cent while Shanghai recovered from a weak start and closed nearly unchanged
Singapore added nearly 0.45 per cent while Thailand closed 0.4 per cent higher. Indonesia lost 0.3 per cent and Malaysia gave up over 0.1 per cent. Hong Kong ended with modest losses
