CNBC-TV18's India Business Leader Awards to salute the best in Indian business

Business news channel CNBC-TV18 will present the 4th India Business Leaders Awards on 22 January 2009.
The year 2008 has been a difficult year for business across the world. But it is in trying times that the best minds show their brightest side. The year would be remembered not only as the year that exposed the flaws in corporate affairs, but also highlighted the efforts of the best business leaders who steered their companies through the most difficult times and situations.
Based on CNBC Asia Business Leader Awards that recognise the best corporate leaders, The Indian Business Leader Awards are widely regarded among the prestigious awards in business excellence in India.
The jury for these awards will be chaired by Mukesh Ambani, chairman, Reliance Industries, with other members of the jury being Kumar Mangalam Birla, chairman, Aditya Birla Group, Deepak Parekh, chairman, HDFC, R. Seshasayee, managing director, Ashok Leyland, Jagdish Khattar, CMD, Carnation Auto India, and Raghav Bahl, managing director, Network18.
