Mumbai:
Rado Watch
Company, the leading Swiss watch manufacturer, has introduced
its latest product eSenza. The word eSenza is derived from
the Italian e senza, meaning "it is without."
In this product, Rado has displayed its mastery of design, and in
homage to the perfection of form it has dared to leave out
something that would seem to be indispensable to a watch the
crown. Proving that a perfect form can be even more elegantly
unpretentious, Rado is introducing a collection bearing the theme
Colours of the Senses.
Three different versions are offered each in three sizes. In
the pure version, simply two hands display the time, and the
matching leather strap gleams in fine, glossy patent leather. The
charming classical version has 12 hour-index points and two hands.
Its leather strap is specially coated, providing a silky feel. The
third variation is one of exciting luxury four diamonds on
pure black with a leather strap in mock crocodile.
The functionality of the watch is ensured, even without a crown.
The back of the watch contains two contact fields (plus/minus).
Placing the magnetic element at the end of the leather strap into
the appropriate indentation causes the hands to move in the
desired direction.
Its curved, sapphire crystal highlights the new watch. It
floats like a cupola over the entire upper surface of the
watch, perfectly rounding off the captivating form. The case
back is made from skin-friendly titanium and is water-resistant
to 98 feet.
In India it will be available at leading retailers across
60 cities and is priced here at Rs 34,200.
Rado vice-president (sales) Peter Kaeser and country manager for
India John Gorman launched the product on 27 November. Kaeser
presented the new product to the glamorous brand ambassadress Lisa
Ray.
