Decision makers rank CNBC TV18 as top news channel: AC Nielsen ORG-MARG

DMS 5 also reveals that TV 18's consumer channel in Hindi, Awaaz, has been rated as having the second highest viewership among Hindi news channels amongst all decision makers surveyed. TV18's consumer channel in Hindi is watched by more than 43 per cent of India's decision makers second to Aaj Tak.
Corporate Decision Makers across sectors also watched Awaaz more than Star News, NDTV India and Zee News, as per the DMS 5 survey.
According to the survey, CNBC TV18 has a viewership across all key sectors of 75 per cent of respondents. Besides being watched by households, the channel's primary viewership is by corporate decision makers 'out-of-home' (OOH). According to DMS 5, CNBC TV18 has a higher OOH viewership with 54 per cent of decision makers watching CNBC-TV18 out of home.
A successor to the DMS 4, the current survey was conducted among senior executives designated as general managers and above across India's top 500 private companies, top 100 public sector and 100 leading financial sector companies including banks, merchant bankers and foreign institutional investors.
CNBC-TVI8's coverage extends from corporate news, financial markets coverage, expert perspective on investing and management to industry verticals. According to the company, CNBC-TV18 is currently available in over 30 million households in India.
