SABe TV in JV with UKs MATV

Mumbai: The Sri Adhikari Brothers-promoted Hindi entertainment channel SABe TV has entered into a joint-venture agreement by acquiring a 50-per cent stake in a UK-based channel MATV Channel 6.

MATV, a Leicestershire-based free-to-air Asian terrestrial channel, was launched in 1999 as a terrestrial broadcaster. The channel, which also started its broadcast through cable networks from April 2000, has achieved cash breakeven recently.
