China Coal raises $1.69 billion Hong Kong stock exchange

China's second largest mining group, China Coal, has raised $1.69 billion (approximately Rs7,611.76 crore) in its public issue of 3.25 billion shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
Other state-owned Chinese companies that have issued minority public issues, to lure in Western investors, on either the Hong Kong or Shanghai stock markets this year port operator China Communications Construction and telecommunications company China Communications.
