HTC has introduced two spanking new models, the HTC Touch Pro and the Touch Viva in Mumbai. The new HTC Touch phones comprise the best elements of the touch screen experience in devices designed to put this latest, intuitive mobile phone technology in the hands of all who desire passionately to communicate efficiently.
Priced at Rs34,990, the HTC Touch Pro keypad slides out from behind the screen. With its full-featured QWERTY keyboard for text entry, it also offers an elegant and sophisticated touch screen experience for intuitive navigation. The proprietary touch interface, TouchFLO 3D featured earlier in the HTC Touch Diamond. The new customised web browser allows panning and zooming of pages. Like in the Diamond, the user can access YouTube for playing videos as well as Google Maps. Its 3D optimised touch experience provides a stunningly intuitive way to zip through common tasks like making calls, writing text messages or emails, listening to music or checking weather. Boasting of a 2.8-inch display, the built-in TV-out functionality enables perfect PowerPoint presentations from the Touch Pro.
The HTC Touch Viva at Rs16,490 also features a sharp 2.8-inch screen and a 2 megapixel camera. Besides its compact design the Touch Viva also includes touch screen for navigation through contacts, media and web pages with HTC's touch optimised TouchFLO user interface. Users can flip through their album artwork, pictures and videos simply like they were picture cards in the palm of their hands.
HTC has tied up with Idea mobile service so users who opt for Idea as their service provider can avail of the 1200 MB of free downloads. With over a decade's experience in designing and building innovative smart phones and PDAs, HTC has a portfolio that includes 12 devices on the GSM platform and 3 devices on the CDMA platform.
