Acmic Interactive appoints Vamsi Vanka as GM

Acmic Interactive, an online Internet marketing company, has appointed Vamsi Vanka as general manager. Vanka was with Mediaedge:cia (MEC) as national director, MEC Interaction, the agency's digital arm.
His role at MEC invovled delivering digital strategy to MEC's clients. Vanka began his career in Zee Telefilms as executive assistant to the MD and was part of the team that launched Zeenext.com.
Since then he has worked entirely in the digital space, with stints at Mediaturf (now Ignitee India), Tribal DDB India, Starcom IP and EBS Interactive.
Now at Acmic Interactive, he will be responsible for both India and international markets and will be playing a vital role in business development in the digital space.
Vanka's appointment will help Acmic Interactive in its global expansion plans.
