Aniruddha Banerjee bids adieu as chairman of Publicis Ambience

Aniruddha Banerjee, chairman, Publicis Ambience, has put in his papers at the agency and will leave by the year-end.
Nakul Chopra, chief executive officer, South Asia, Publicis, will take over Banerjee's responsibilities, for now.
Banerjee joined Publicis Ambience as president and chief operating officer in March 2007 from Mudra, where he was the president.
He took over as chairperson of Publicis Ambience in January 2010 in a senior level restructuring at the organisation.
Banerjee started his career with Contract Advertising, followed by an eight-year association with Bates and then a six-year stint with Leo Burnett. In 2004, he joined Everest Brand Solutions as chief operating officer for two years before moving to Mudra.
