Ashish Bhasin becomes director of Posterscope Asia Pacific

Aegis Media has appointed Ashish Bhasin as director of Posterscope Asia Pacific. This role is in addition to his current position as chairman India and CEO Aegis Media South East Asia. Posterscope is Aegis Media's OOH division.
Bhasin joined Aegis Media in June 2008. Since then, he has launched new services and divisions and has substantially expanded the businesses.
Bhasin took on the role of chairman - India and CEO South East Asia for Aegis Media, which includes Carat, Posterscope, Isobar and Vizeum. His sphere of activity includes markets such as Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam and South Asia. He is also a member of the Aegis Media Asia Pacific Executive Council.
Posterscope is now in 12 cities across India and has picked up 34 new clients. The key areas of focus for Bhasin with Posterscope in the region will be to identify and set up opportunities to launch Posterscope across other countries within Asia Pacific, enhancing the out-of-home capabilities and encouraging centers of excellence.

Before this, Bhasin's career included a successful 20 years with Lintas India. He serviced the Unilever business for eight years, before moving on to head Lintas' Chennai office.
On returning to Mumbai, he took over as president, Initiative Media India, which grew several-fold in the five years under his leadership. He moved on as director, Integrated Marketing Action Group, forming Integrated Marketing Business. His responsibilities included Lintas Personal (Direct & Digital), Linterland (Rural), LinOpinion (PR), Advent (Events), Lintertainment (Entertainment), Lintas Healthcare and dCell (Design).
He also took on an additional global role as executive vice-president, Lowe Worldwide and Asia regional director for Integrated Marketing.
